Chart type · Comparison
Podium
A top-three, medal-style ranking.
How to read it
Three places, in order. Block height is symbolic — read the printed values, not the steps.
Best for
When only the winners matter and the tail is noise.
When not to use it
Fourth place is close to third, which makes the cut-off the most interesting thing on screen and then hides it.
The common mistake
Celebrating a top three drawn from a field of four.
